Product design and development

Product design and development

Resolve the interfaces before they reach production.

Application inputs, electrical architecture, layouts, protection, access and interfaces are evaluated before manufacturing release.

In short

Product performance starts with disciplined design: understanding the application, validating interfaces and planning for operation, maintenance and expansion.

Application engineering

We translate load schedules, operating philosophy, fault levels, redundancy needs and site conditions into a practical system architecture.

Design activities

Load analysis and equipment sizing

Protection coordination and fault analysis

Panel configuration and internal segregation

Room layouts, cable routing and busduct interfaces

Control philosophy and communication architecture

Thermal, altitude and environmental considerations

Designed for lifecycle performance

Maintainability, spare capacity, extendability and retrofit paths are considered from the beginning—not after commissioning.

Engineering before manufacturing

Engineered for reliability, safety, maintainability and seamless power distribution

Pre-emptive design validation

Identifies design conflicts before manufacturing begins

Reduces commissioning delays and site-level rework

Ensures first-time-right project execution and installation readiness

Load analysis & protection coordination

Minimises nuisance tripping and power interruptions

Improves fault isolation and system protection

Enhances operational reliability and uptime

Customised panel configurations

Enables future scalability and easy system expansion

Optimised for application-specific operational requirements

Supports flexible integration with site and utility conditions

Room layouts, cable routing & busduct integration

Optimises equipment layouts, routing paths and space utilisation

Prevents routing and interface conflicts

Enables faster commissioning and project execution

Engineered right. Built to last.

Construction decisions made at the design stage

01

Tropical climate engineering

Designed for high temperature and high humidity conditions, using suitable materials and coatings for corrosion resistance and long-term performance in harsh environments.

02

CRCA construction

Robust CRCA sheet enclosures and internal partitions provide high structural rigidity, strength and thermal stability.

03

Formed-in-place foam gaskets

Automated robot-assisted gasket application ensures IP54/IP55 dust, moisture and vermin-proof sealing.

04

Tool-operated fasteners

All live compartment access panels are tool-operated — preventing unauthorised access and accidental contact, and enhancing safety for maintenance personnel.

05

Fully bolted modular construction

A non-welded, bolted structure enables field extensions and reconfigurations, avoids distortion and rework, and ensures strength, precision and repeatability.

06

Extendable on both sides

Future capacity additions without disrupting operation; expansion on either side to suit site conditions, reducing downtime and installation complexity.

07

Derating compliance

All switchgear and busbars are derated as per IEC standards, considering altitude, ambient temperature and load profile.

08

Form 4 separation

Internal segregation as per IEC 61439 protects adjacent feeders during faults and enhances safety and system continuity.
